Where the name comes from

The idea arrived in the middle of a novel, read in a language we were still learning.

In the scene, a character orders an enchanted map to reveal its secrets. The map refuses, it answers back with an insult and keeps them. We wanted the opposite from the paragraph in front of us: say the word, and the sentence opens, every word in our own language, one at a time, with nothing skipped.

So we built it. The spell became the name.

Questions

Does Revela send my photos or recordings anywhere?
No. Text recognition, translation and speech recognition run on your device. Images and audio are not stored or transmitted by us.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no registration, and no email or password is collected in normal use.
Is it free?
Revela is free to use, with an optional subscription for premium features. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store and Google Play and can be cancelled there at any time.
Which platforms are supported?
iOS and Android. Both versions are built from a shared codebase and released together.
